UK-based education entrepreneur Praveen Pula promoted Woxsen School of Business plans to target the students wanting to become entrepreneurs and also part fund their start up ventures.
Dean R Narasimhan said the business school adopted a unique model in teaching the students on a global standard of excellence in leadership, organization, communication and strategy.
"Ernst & Young was appointed for guiding us in preparing curriculum and understand the demand for the courses we offer, apart from the other business feasibility analysis," he told ET on the sidelines of a media conference.
Woxsen proposes to set up a campus at Sadasivapet near Hyderabad spread over 200 acres of land with facilities like classrooms, library, auditorium, staff and student residential quarters, a golf course, among others. The business school proposes to invest Rs 500 crore in all towards the venture.
Chairman Praveen Pula said the country needs to develop new-age entrepreneurs who are willing to take risks and think beyond the traditional business models. He said the business school would handhold such budding entrepreneurs and part fund their start up ventures.
Woxsen proposes to begin operations from April next year based on the accreditation clearances from the AICTE and plans to begin admissions process by November this year.
